Choosing a saree for your occasion

Begin with how you want to feel and how you will wear the saree. A family celebration may call for decorative detail, while a working day may favour a lighter finish and easier movement. Consider the blouse, footwear and accessories together rather than choosing by colour alone. Read the individual product description for fabric information, included pieces and dimensions; those details can differ from one design to another. Look through the available photographs to understand the drape and border. If a detail you need is missing, ask our team before ordering so your choice is based on the actual garment.

Kurtha, suit sets and everyday styling

When comparing kurtha and suit sets, look at the neckline, sleeve shape, length and the pieces included in the set. A product photograph may show styling accessories, so the description is the best place to confirm what your order includes. Start with the size information for that design and compare it with a similar garment you wear comfortably. Think about whether you prefer a close or relaxed fit, and leave room for comfortable movement. Colours can appear different across screens and lighting; our team can help with questions about a particular style. Choose a piece that complements the occasions already in your wardrobe.

Fabric details and care

Fabric names are a starting point, but the feel and care of a garment also depend on its composition, lining, embroidery and finish. Use the details on the product page and the care label supplied with the garment. Avoid assuming that every saree described with the same fabric name needs the same washing method. If care information is unclear, ask before washing, ironing or storing the piece. Keep embellished garments away from surfaces that may catch delicate threads, and give stored clothing space to avoid unnecessary creasing. For a specific design, our team can help you check the information available before purchase.
